Could you please make the necessary arrangements for the replacement of these articles and their delivery?

We acknowledge reception of the solid pine, settees which you sent to us according to our order of the 5th instant.
Although the boxes were intact, when we unpacked them we discovered that a certain number of the items were broken.
We have told the shipper about the damage and kept the boxes and their contents so that they may be inspected.
